My oldest is NINE. I think it's safe to say that we've entered the "tweens". No more Barbies, Bratz, or Polly Pockets. Now it's iPods (yes I caved and got her one for her birthday, with dire warnings that if it gets lost or broken she's on her own to replace it), scrapbooking, and cell phones ("no way." "PLEASE?" "NO way!").So here's my post on my Deeds. 9 things I adore about her.
- She's just like me as far as books go. Hello, child, pull your nose out of your book for two seconds to watch where you're going while you walk down the hall. And give me the flash light that you're trying to hide under your covers... Bed time crazy girl. (I need to get a pic of her covers glowing while she tries to be sneaky and read in bed).
- She's so into music now-a-days it's insane. I have completely had my fill of Jonas Brothers and David Archuleta. But Tayler Swift I can handle. She can sing EVERY song on the radio.
- She's very tender hearted. This girl has strong, tender feelings in her. Sometimes that's a "sweet" thing, other times it's hard for me to see her struggling with things. Visits with her dad are hard on her. I hope she knows that no matter what, I am here for her, I will ALWAYS be here for her, and she can ALWAYS come to me with ANYTHING.
- Momma Mia... High School Musical... Camp Rock. I think these movies have a lot to do with the music because, of course, she can sing every word to every song. I do believe I'll putting Abba on her iPod.
- Casidee is SO outgoing. She can make friends with anyone, anywhere.
- Casidee has such a bubbly personality. She's the life of the party, always cheery and flowing with the action. Life isn't boring with this girl around.
- Her long hair... she loves it. It is my nemesis.
- She has an incredible sense of humor. One day at dinner I had given her "invisible" kool-aid, and Brynn asked for water. Brynn left the table to use the bathroom, and Casidee, on her own accord, switched their glasses. Brynn came back and took a drink and looked completely shocked and dumbfounded. It was the funniest thing I'd ever seen.
- Casidee has a strong spirit. She's always concerned about going to church, reading scriptures, and praying together. I'm thankful for her testimony.
Happy birthday Cas. Sorry you have to be my guinea pig. I'm flying by the seat of my pants with you, because I've never been where you take me. But I love you and I'm trying my best. Hopefully, together, we'll survive each other, :) lol.

ha ha. I had to laugh at your "tweens" comment... I think my 4 year old is already a tween... the ONLY thing she would ask Santa for Christmas was a pink IPOD... we had no choice but to get her one. She's probably the only kid that has an IPOD that can't even read the name of the freaking songs!
Ayden, Deja, and Yasi have iPods too. You had to cave Lol "all the cool kids are doin it!"
