Are you kidding me?... counting down

I'm counting...
18 days left of acutane.I know, I know, I should have undertaken this clear back in high school. But something in me kept thinking, "Surely I'll grow out of this soon!" Obviously I was wrong. My dermatologist and acutane are my new best friends and the past 5 or 6 months have been slightly on the harsh side, BUT my skin looks FAAAA-bulous! Look Ma, no pimples!!!!27 days until the long awaited NICKELBACK concert! I only bought the tickets 2 months ago. I'm not excited at all... (every time a Nickelback song comes on the radio I make some sort of reference that I'm going to the concert, or did you know they're coming in concert?) I'm practically peeing my pants over this! I'm SO excited for this that when West told me about the surprise that's coming up in 32 days, I was about to tell him "no" when I thought it would make me miss Nickelback. For your listening pleasure :) (Savin' Me) and also for your listening pleasure... (If Today Was Your Last Day) and one more because they're so stinkin' good! (If Everyone Cared) OK fine, this one is actually Santana featuring Chad Kroeger, but it's one of our favorites so I'm going to add it ha ha. (Dance Into the Night).
29 days until the Relief Society retreat.I'm in charge of the humanitarian project, and with as fun and crazy as all my neighbors are I'm very much looking forward to this. I can't say enough about my neighborhood and a full night of getting to know the women is going to be so much fun! Not to mention that our humanitarian project is going to kick butt! (I would have said kick ass, but that seems wrong in reference with a Relief Society Humanitarian Project LOL).
32 days until my Caribbean cruise. West sends me a text "I've booked a cruise for two." Are you kidding me? To which he replies Yes. Bastard. And then he says of course we're going silly. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Let me just say here that this man makes my dreams come true. And if he doesn't make them come true he fully supports me in them. 1. Taking the kids to Disneyland 2. going back to school (he says he doesn't mind if I get that PhD, he doesn't mind having a sugar mama) 3. a Caribbean cruise!!! Hello Jack Sparrow here I come. I'm actually still reeling a bit from this. Wow! I can't believe that for so long I felt so alone and trapped and depressed and bored with life! And now? It's so exhilarating! What a rush! When it's all said and done, I'm going to look back and think "Woo! What a ride!" Many, many, many thanks to my mom and dad for rearranging a doctor's appointment and coming up a few days early to stay with the circus so I can go to the Bahamas. I better have everything completely done before I leave because...
36 days to Sean's birthday and whatever that will entail (also the day we get home) and
37 days to Brynn's big 8th birthday and her baptism. So I need to be on top of everything before I hit the glorious Caribbean and make sure everything is in order because the day after I get back, bam. Baptism time. No sweat :). Just coordinate with the other families and I'm sure Leatherby's will be happy to have us afterwards.
And for good measure ha ha... (Gotta Be Somebody)

I just finished Accutane a month ago (5 months on it)! I should have done it years ago, and I'm mad at all the dermatologists who didn't recommend it before. My experience on it was fantastic, but i think living in a less harsh climate probably helped. Nothing a little Carmex and Cetaphil couldn't handle (ok, a lot of Carmex and Cetaphil.) Off it a month now and my skin looks and feels amazing.

Have fun on your cruise! Sounds fantastic.
