They had a haystack maze set up so we lost the kids in it for a while. Cali wasn't tall enough to be seen over the haystacks and I'd call out "Cali raise your hand" and somewhere in the midst of the bails you'd see this tiny hand stick up.

Yes, but the pumpkin patches are well worth the extra cost just for the experience of it all. Grocery Store pumpkin shopping is bologna! Pumpkins have to be found at a patch. I'm glad you are building the memories.
