| Dear Teacher, Thank you for teaching my child about science by having her do meal worm prediction experiments. We now know that a meal worm prefers black over white and seems to hate wet surfaces as I didn't realize a meal worm could move backwards so quickly off a wet paper towel. They can manage a simple maze to find food. It was a little crazy trying to grab the creepy crawly worm with legs when we didn't REALLY even want to touch it at all. My one concern with this project you sent home is now that we're done with it, what in the world are we supposed to do with this creature that's going to morph into a beetle? As you have told your students you most certainly don't want them brought back to you... |

Ewww. As the only girl in a house of boys I know my time with these creatures will come soon. I would suggest letting it go in the backyard....or the local park. Then it is far away!
AWESOME!!!!!
GROSS! My kids would LOVE IT! (john especially.)
Oh man... feed it to the birds!!!
