This year we had our family pictures done by a friend of mine who's just starting out in his photography business. He made me a deal I just couldn't refuse so he could get some "practice" in. I love some, others not so much. And my only complaint is that on some of the kids I only got to see one picture of them. I didn't get to choose which pose or picture, or even the shading of the picture that I wanted. So, like it or not, that's what I got. Also, I went through a lot of effort to 1. find that couch and 2. get the couch out to the location. I wish it had been more of a focal point in the pictures. Or at least in more of them. I do like how he played with his shading and coloring on the pics though. In that aspect I think he's brilliant. If you want to check him out, you can find his photography page on facebook as
