Tayler definitions

While watching "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (the new one with Johnny Depp), during the scene where they're on the chocolate river in the sea horse boat...

Tay says: "I know why they're in a sea horse."

Me: "Why?"

Tay: "Because they're on chocolate, and it's a river, so they're in a sea horse."

Tayler's definitions

I LOVE Tayler's definitions! She hasn't had too many lately, but the other night she graced me with one :)
Tayler: "Mom, I know why they call it Hamburger Helper"
Me: Thinking "because it helps make hamburger a dinner?" but simply asking "why?"
Tayler: "Because it helps people want to eat hamburger."
Yup, hers was better.

In the words of Tayler

I love these!
Tayler tells me today while we're driving, "Mom, I know why we have cars."
So of course, hoping she'll give me another one of her definitions, I ask her why. "So when you have to go far away you won't get tired, that's why we have cars." She's so funny.

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I've been crazy busy with moving, unpacking, and now painting. The girls' rooms are almost done so I'll post some pics of those (they look FABULOUS). I do have to say how absolutely wonderful this neighborhood has been. I can't even go outside with out someone new introducing themselves to me. We continue to receive goodies on our doorstep and random men snowblowing the driveway. I feel like I need to stock my freezer full of pies and breads and cookies just to be able to thank everyone who is constantly helping us.

Tayler's told me her definitions on two words this week. I honestly hope this is something she keeps up, it's hilarious.
"Mom, I know why it's called decorations." "Why?" "Because it's made of glass and you can't play with it."
"Mom, I know why it's called a restaurant." "Why?" "Because it's where you eat and rest."
