Blow dryer drama

Monday I woke up (way to early for my own good), took a very long shower (I can't take a fast shower to save my life!), got dressed, woke up the circus, and pulled out my blow dryer. I flipped the switch... and nothing. I flipped it repeatedly several more times because if it doesn't work the first time, maybe the twentieth will do the trick, right? Drat! Wet hair and only 45 minutes before I needed to head to work and I still had to do four other heads of hair. I had to pull the wet mess up into a bun. On my way home I stopped at good ol' Walgreens and grabbed a new one. Tuesday I woke up (way to early for my own good), took a very long shower (I can't take a fast shower to save my life!), got dressed, woke up the circus, and pulled out my blow dryer. I flipped the switch... and the stupid thing would only blow cold air! I tried for a good ten minutes to get the cold air to do SOMETHING on my wet hair, but finally gave up the fruitless effort. I let it air dry and took my straightner to work and finished in the bathroom when it finally dried (with A LOT of wisecracks from the guys. I'm so outnumbered there). On the way home I stopped at good ol' Walgreens and swapped for another new one. This time I plugged it in as soon as I got home to make sure it would blow hot, which it did. So Wednesday I woke up (way to early for my own good), took a very long shower (I can't take a fast shower to save my life!), got dressed, woke up the circus, and pulled out my blow dryer. I flipped the switch... and started blowing drying my hair no problem. Until I was half way done and the stupid thing just stopped cold! ARGH! It started again 15 minutes later, so I think on this one I must be holding it too close to my hair and brush so it's overheating itself, but should that really matter? How annoying.

K so this seriously sounds like my flat iron drama until I went to beauty school and paid for the best one in my life! I will cross my fingers for you that maybe it was just a bad week???? :)

PS: Your pics of you and West are super cute skatin! :)

I have had similar experiences - twice I have had blow-dryers go out on Sunday mornings. Not funny. And I have very thick and very frizzy hair. My last blow-dryer just went out about 2 months ago (this one lasted about five years and I couldn't believe it!).
