California Dreamin' on such a Winter's day... day 6... La Jolla

I'm pretty sure La Jolla is my favorite place in the whole world.
The kids walking with my cousin Mark, on our way to the Children's cove to see the seals on the beach. The circus was in complete awe to be around the seals. They were so respectful of them, moving slowly and quietly. I've never seen Sean sit this still for so long with out a video game :). After getting our fill or the seals (and the protesters, pro sharing the beach and pro leave the seals alone, battling it out), we walked down to the cove to see the Sea Lions, which were a lot noisier, and not so near. We could only look out at them on the rocks, but the kids had fun jumping waves and exploring. We could get too wet, because we still had start our long drive home. It was while sitting on this beach that I pulled out my phone and checked out facebook... a foot of fresh snow had fallen at home. That's it, we're staying here! (If only!)
