California Dreaming on such a Winter's Day... day 4... Legoland Review

Before we went to the beach, we spent the afternoon at Legoland California. Since we have giant totes of legos (I wish this were an expressive exaggeration to better a story, but really, we have giant toteS of legos...) this would be a great place for us to check out.
Here's what I have to say about it. And this is just our experience and our opinion after spending the day there with our circus. You pay Disneyland prices for... "it was OK" fun. Frankly, if I'm dishing out Disneyland prices for a family of 8, I'm going to want Disneyland ("we LOVED it") fun, not "it was OK". We went, we saw, it was new, we don't regret it, but we probably won't go back. It was... slow. The rides were, OK. The lego attractions were, not as abundant as I would have thought for a place called LEGOland. Although... miniland was pretty cool. Probably the coolest part of the whole park. We saw Las Vegas, New York, London, New Orleans, Egypt, and a Star Wars all done in legos. But having said that it was overall "OK" I will say that some of the legos were really big and therefore cool. Like this one: And Einstein was by far my favorite thing there: We did however, feel it would have a better "wow" factor for younger kids than ours.

Is Cali copping a feel on the Lego lady?!?

Lots of those Lego people were different since we were there. Sorry you didn't have as much fun as you had hoped. We loved it when we went but our kids were younger too.
