Bathroom Nook... (looky what I did)

We ripped our bathroom apart last year. And I mean clear down to nothing but wall studs and a plywood floor. You can see pictures of the renovation here. And a little bit more about the project here. That second post shows a bit of how we're slowly getting it put back together. Our priorities changed a lot over the summer. Warmer weather calls for more playtime. And that's where we invested our money and time with our circus. But now that it's getting cold and the storms are rolling, it's back to fixing our house. I had a small project that was on my list to do. Finally. Most of the projects... OK ALL of the projects so far have been the man's. Plumbing, wiring, framing, sheet rock. He's a rock star. But this project fell into my court. I needed to take this decorative nook in the new toilet room (that the man so sweetly built there as a surprise for me):and I found this tree:
and the man wanted some... depth to it. So I took this picture as inspiration:
And after a trip to the craft store, came up with this:

The lighting was hard to get a good picture of it, because we don't actually have lights in that room yet. But I'm pretty excited with how it turned out.
